A
small and attractive court of entry is one of our architectural jewell
typical of the Venetian aristocratic palaces. This vision is extremely
suggestive and spectacular, especially for those coming for the first
time. In the center of the courtyard you can admire and authentic,
wonderful original well of the XIV century. As well as the majestic
staircase that goes on the first floor, once called the noble floor,
where are now the rooms placeda round a large sitting-room bounded
by a remarkable gothic balustrade, stili in a perfect condition, and
protected by a solid wooden lean-toroof with old venentian tiles (copi),
holded up, inspite of its size and weight, only by two small pillars
of Istria stones. |
