The Majestic Inn is located in the wonderful St.
Mark's square, one the most beautiful in the world.The layout of this breathtaking square can be traced to the 12th century, but the style is definitely Renaissance. The square stretches in front of the Basilica of San Marco in a trapezoidal shape enclosed by the arches of the Procuratie. The façade and the two columns of the Palazzo Ducale (1442) elegantly lead the visitor to the docks. The celebrated Bell Tower rises up next to The Majestic inn. Facing the inn on the other side of the square is the Caffè Florian - a historic coffee shop founded in 1720 as the "Venezia Trionfant" by Floriano Francesco.
