residence of Venetian merchants now converted into six welcoming rooms
finished in typical Venetian style. The word "armizo" in
the old Venetian language, means "mooring". Loc. Armizo
is, in fact, in campo San Silvestro, one of the most beautiful and
characteristic piazzas of Venice, only two minutes
from the Rialto Bridge and only a few steps away from the Gran
Canal, where in ancient times ships used to moor in order
to unload their merchandise from all over the world for selling at
the Rialto Market.
