 The
Hungaria Palace Hotel is located in the center of
Lido of Venice, only 15 minutes by boat from St. Mark's Square.The building which hosts the hotel was built in 1905, when the Lido was just starting to become popular as "the" restort area, and the lovely neorenaissance facade was further embellished in 1914 by a polychrome majolica covering. The inside is furnished with items from the Eugenio Quarti Milan based cabinet-maker's shop which in those years headed the most refined Italian Art Nouveau furniture.
