Santa Croce is one of the smallest sestieres of Venice, and often gets swallowed up into San Polo in city guides. This is a shame, as although it lacks attractions as such, it has many narrow backstreets, with bars and restaurants waiting to be discovered by the more adventurous visitor.

Getting to the Hotel
The hotel can be easily reached from S. Lucia Railway station and from the parking areas (Piazzale Roma and Tronchetto), as is a 10 minute walk from the railway station. Cross the large white bridge called "Ponte degli Scalzi" and follow the Canal Grande for about 50 meters. On your left you will see a street that goes by the Tolentini Church directly to the Hotel.
