An enviable position in the heart of Venice (Italy), an enchanting

in a more strategic location than other Venetian inns. It is located
in the "sestiere" or district of Cannaregio
and, more precisely, in the picturesque "Jewish Ghetto"
of Venice, close to the Ponte delle Guglie, the stupendous Venice
Casino and the train station. Piazza San Marco and
all the other artistic and cultural attractions of Venice are easily
reachable either by vaporetto or on foot, by following the nearby
"strada Nuova" that runs from the Ponte delle Guglie to
the other side of the train station.
You enter Ca' Pozzo Inn through a typical, picturesque Venetian "portego"
that provides privacy and tranquility that are truly rare in other
Venetian hotels.

By car.
Park your car in one of the Tronchetto parking lots (and take
the vaporetto to Piazzale Roma) or park in Piazzale Rome and
then take motor boat no. 42 or 52 and get off at the Ponte delle
Guglie stop; you will find the Ca' Pozzo portego about 50 m
away.
By train. Get off at Venice's Santa
Lucia station and take motor boat no. 42 or 52, getting off
at the Ponte delle Guglie stop. If your luggage isn't heavy,
once you've gotten off the train, you may also decide to walk
to Hotel Ca' Pozzo. Exit the station and follow the Lista di
Spagna, the long street that you will find to your left. In
5 minutes you will be at the Ponte delle Guglie; cross it and
turn left for the fondamenta. About 50 meters from the bridge,
you will find the Ca' Pozzo portego.
By air. From Venice's Marco Polo airport,
you can take the ATVO "Venice Air Terminal" bus that
brings you to Piazzale Rome in 20 minutes. You can then reach
Ca' Pozzo with the no. 42 or 52 motor boat and get off at the
Ponte delle Guglie stop; 50 m from the landing you will find
the Ca' Pozzo portego.
Or, you can take the "Alilaguna" boat from the airport
to the Fondamente Nuove. Once you've arrived, take the no. 41
or 51 motorboat and get off at the Ponte delle Guglie stop.
Or, you have the option of taking a water taxi that will take
you from the airport to the hotel. |
